CARLISLE, Pa. – The Dickinson men’s golf team got a pair of 69’s from Peter Lown and Tyler Tornoe, but it would not be enough for the Red Devils as Ryan McGarry shot an eight-under 64 for McDaniel to claim the individual title and push the Green Terror to the team championship at the Dickinson Fall Invitational on Saturday at Carlisle Barracks Golf Club.
Lown and Tornoe finished in a tie for fourth, while Colin McMahon-Shea along with Bo Concannon both shot a solid 70 for a seventh-place finish. Drew Stern completed the scoring for one of the home teams with an even-par 72, followed by Brandon Wilson with a 75. William McCann added a 72 of his own as part of the Red Devils “B” Team. Also, in that group was Troy Guiffre (76), Will Carkhuff (77) and Jackson Guy (78).
Dickinson had two complete teams compete in the event with one posting a combined -8, 280, while the other group came in with a +7, 295. McDaniel aided by McGarry and Chuck Csejka (68) help the Green Terror shoot a combined -12 (276) for the win.
